Policies & Court Requirements

Court-Mandated Participation Notice

Participants are responsible for confirming that the court, probation department, attorney, employer, or referring agency will accept this virtual anger-management program before registering. Program enrollment does not guarantee that a particular court or agency will accept the course, its curriculum, or its documentation. Participants should provide all applicable deadlines and documentation requirements before beginning the program.

Missed Class and Make-Up Policy

Consistent attendance is necessary for clients to benefit from the program and satisfy the requirements of the 12-week anger-management course. Clients must complete all 12 class sessions before receiving a Certificate of Completion.

  • Advance Notice: Clients who cannot attend a scheduled class must provide at least 24 hours' notice by using the approved contact method. When sufficient notice is provided, the client may reschedule the class based on program availability, and the payment may be transferred to the approved make-up session

  • Late Cancellations: A cancellation made less than 24 hours before the scheduled class is considered a late cancellation. The original class payment will not be refunded or transferred. The client must schedule and pay $65 for a make-up session.

  • No-Shows: A client is considered a no-show when the client does not attend the scheduled class and does not provide advance notice. A no-show does not count toward course completion. The original payment will be forfeited, and the client must schedule and pay $65 for a make-up session.

  • Late Arrival: Clients should join each virtual class on time. A client who arrives more than 15 minutes late may not receive credit for the session because the complete course material must be covered. The client may be required to schedule and pay for a make-up class.

  • Make-Up Class Requirements: All missed classes must be completed. Make-up classes are offered according to facilitator and class availability. A make-up class may be completed with another scheduled group or in another approved format determined by the facilitator. Clients must complete any assigned workbook exercises associated with the missed lesson. A make-up class is not considered scheduled until it has been confirmed. Court, probation, employment, or agency deadlines do not guarantee immediate make-up availability. Clients are responsible for scheduling make-up classes early enough to meet applicable deadlines.

  • Emergencies: Medical emergencies, family emergencies, severe weather, and other exceptional circumstances will be reviewed individually, and documentation will be requested. Waiving or transferring a fee under exceptional circumstances is at the discretion of the program and is not guaranteed.

  • Facilitator Cancellations: If the facilitator cancels a class, the client will be offered a replacement session at no additional charge. Payments will be transferred to the rescheduled class.

Documentation and Certificate of Completion

Progress reports may be provided during the course to document attendance, participation, workbook completion, topics covered, and progress toward program requirements. With the client's written authorization, progress reports may be released to an approved court, probation officer, attorney, employer, referring agency, or other authorized recipient.

To receive a Certificate of Completion, clients must:

  • Complete the intake form and client questionnaire

  • Attend all 12 required class sessions

  • Participate appropriately in class

  • Complete required workbook assignments

  • Satisfy all payment obligations

  • Complete any required make-up sessions

  • Follow the program's conduct and participation policies

  • A Certificate of Completion will be issued after all program requirements have been

  • satisfied. Certificates will not be issued for partial or incomplete participation.

***When I tried to schedule a class just for practicing purposes, a class with the option to pay the $780 shows up instead of the option to pay for the weekly $65 class. I played around in Acuity and added the weekly option. I’m not sure if I did it correctly. I need the Tuesday option starting on November 3, 2026 and ending January 19, 2027 (11:00am and 6:00pm). Can you fix it in Acuity? As enrollment grows, I’ll have to add other days to the schedule.
